Law Office Practicing in Peculiar, MO
Welcome to the areas of practice portion of my website. Before you look at the different areas of law where I have chosen to concentrate my efforts, I want you to know a little about me. I graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1987 with a degree in journalism. I spent the next 15 years working in community journalism for area newspapers and public relations in Cass County. I graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2006 and was admitted to the Missouri bar in 2007. Since that time, I have dedicated my law practice to helping clients understand and navigate the estate planning and not-for-profit process. I opened my own law firm in 2012 and enjoy working with clients in Cass County where I usually know them, their parents and grandparents! I attend several continuing legal education seminars each year to stay current on developments in the estate planning arena. Civic involvement is very important to me. I serve as legal counsel for several foundations here in Cass County and I stay involved in area Chambers of Commerce as well as philanthropic organizations. Once in a while I play golf and travel abroad when I get the chance.
